  • I'm typing this on a Fujitsu (difficult with my little hoofies), so could be expected to be biased. However, I've had acers in the past so I have a small amount of experience with both.

As such I'd say......... look at the current crop of Dell vostro's. Eldest son has one and it's gorgeous. They always seem to be doing some deal or another so have a look around the small business section and configure your own speced laptop and see how much it is. You don't need to be a small business but do note that the price that appears on the right is plus VAT.

Example here but get that price to £299 plus vat and you should get free delivery which is worth £60.
