Ebay/Internet Dresses....Part 2 Pls?

This is my first post, I have spent many a work day viewing the wedding posts and thought it was time i joined!. I am thinking of getting a Milly/Landy dress. I am getting married in February in Lapland so I am going to wear a faux fur cloak (yet to purchase) so my dress will be covered most of the time, therefore I'm not too fussed about design/quality etc. however the more I read the post the more i want a big posh dress!:D

Everytime I decide on Milly i see someone post a good comment re Landy, going to have to decide soon!

Don't know how much in the uk but some of the American shops have it at a discounted price but I don't know if they'd be allowed to ship to the uk.

Oh, by the way;
Daughter has found THE dress and the one posted here isn't it!
It also means that it has to be bought from the designer as the way it is made means it would be very difficult to copy because of the fabric used and the way it's 'hung'.
Therefore I would say that the bridesmaids dresses will definately come from China!

I used Milly Bridal for my reception dress. It's my own design made up of elements from several different dresses. I was very specific as to what I wanted and included lots of pictures of how I wanted each element of the dress to look like.

Hi Ladies,

Ok, so I haven't ordered my dress from Milly/Landy, but I am definitely gettingmy bridesmaids dresses from there I have picked 5 styles that I like and have emailed them to my bridemaids to ask their opinions. Have emailed Grace at Landy for some samples as the colour chart on the website isn't too clear.

OMG how do you find out who does "your" dress??? i've struggled so much to find ANYONE that does the one i love... the justin alexander 8385... and i DAREN'T order similar off ebay in case it's just hideous! plus i have 28lbs to lose before i can measure, lol!

A Justin Alexander dress was my second choice. It was lovely and reduced from £1300 to £550 . I have no idea what style number it is.

Give the stockists a call that Sal noted above and just ask them if they stock your number dress.
