Any free pregnancy test kits?

Hi

Sorry if this is a bit embarassing :o

Please does anybody know if there is anywhere I can get a free fertility / ovulation tracker or test kit and a pregnancy test kit for use at home? Or even a free book with hints and tips for better chances?

If not where can I find out about them? Theyre so expensive just for the one off use and im having difficulty having children and weve been through the tests and clinics and come to a dead end now unless I want to try IUI :( time is running out.

Thanks

I know it may sound a bit odd but have you tried getting cheaper pregnancy tests off ebay. I know they are soo expensive in store.

    Hi hun

you can get very cheap packs of ovulation predictor kits from ebay, start testing from day 10 of your cycle if I remember correctly and it will tell you when you are ovulating.

Are you a memer of iVillage? If not, I suggest joining up - there's a forum there called Trying for a Baby and everyone is so lovely and helpful and you'll get loads of tips and support :)

    Best of luck!

I'm not very good at succinct. Why say something in 10 words when 100 will do?

Seriously check out ebay. They are very cheap and get good reviews.

This link is for 25 ovulation/pregnancy test combo for £5. But the more you buy the cheaper they work out.

I bought a bunch yesterday and a basal body thermometer. I spent about £20 as I figure if I buy lots I'll screw with fate and get pregnant first try.:D There's a Trying To Conceive thread on this board too.
  • I ave jus been through fertility treatment & now 8wks pregnant with twins, was given pregnancy test 2 do at home which showed up inconclusive so rang hospital & nurse told me 2 buy 1 of tescos own brand, that ther jus as good, ther under £5 for 2 lot cheaper than sum of them.
