Hi there, I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice/ recommendations.
My 3 daughter needs to go into a booster seat now, as she is 20kg.
Could anyone recommend an isofix seat? I have been looking around quickly. but can't seem to find much.
Thank you!

Hi, I really wanted an isofix booster but found that there is only the britax and jane really. I ended up going for the brtax highliner (non-isofix) as from advice from here, as the seatbelt secures the child and not the seat straps (as in a grp 1 seat) the isofix isn't as important on a group 2/3. The Britax is great, very comfy I;ve been told by my 3 yr old and cheap!!

Thank you for your advice. I've just started looking into the options again - are there any booster seats that have a harness - and the option of seat belt later? I'm worried that i'll have problems with my DD unfastening the seat belt!!0

Thank you - I have now found one. I have looked at the Which? report and the Britax Evolva has got the best rating- so i'll go with that one!0

Hi, Im glad you asked this, as im beginning to look into this aswell.
Now looking at the Britax site they have the evolva ultra 2/3 and a kidfix (previously the britax evolva ultra) so now I am confused. Whats the difference? Do you know?
Also what the best price you are getting coming up for this?

i got this one for my daughter a couple of months ago from argos, as it still has the straps on that go over her, and turns into a booster seat only when shes old enough too. personally i didnt trust her to have just the seat belt and have peace of mind also that the harness belts keep her strapped too, shes 3 in october as well, and quite big for her age, hope this helps anyone

Right just spoken to Britax, apparently both seats are the same, just a new name on the latest one.0

The two Britax seats aren't exactly the same.
The Evolva 2-3 Ultra has become the KID plus
The Evolva 2-3 Isofit Ultra has become the KIDFIX
The seats are the same, both have extra side impact protection, but the KIDFIX has the isofix on it.
I have an Evolva 2-3 Ultra Isofit, so I can highly recommend it.0 -

Hi sorry for the delay in responding. They say that the straps are not for children over 18??kg and therefore if you buy the 123 evolva and your child is not on the small side, you won't be able to use the straps for long.
We had a nightmare keeping Jacob in his Group 2/3 carseat as he kept putting his arm under the seatbelt. A combination of shouting, praise and stopping the car on the side of the road and being cross mean that he know at 3 yrs 3 months knows that there is absolutley no way that the arm goes under the seatbelt:rotfl:There are times when parenthood seems nothing but feeding the mouth that bites you Peter De VriesDebt free by 40 (27/11/2016)0 -
Thanks for your reply chivers1977. Am going to Florida and wanted an easy fitting carseat but don't want to put my DD into a high back booster without the 5 point harness. I may go to Mothercare and have a look and see as I anm sure that she is heavier than 18kg but they say you can use the harness until thy are 4.
Are they any easier to fit that the car seats that are suitable from birth please. With the one awe have at the moment I have to climb in it to make it fit.
ThanksJanuary Grocery 11/3740 -
We have a Britax Evolva 1-2-3 and our daughter is 19kg and 120ish cm tall and 6 1/2 and only just about to come out of the harness right now. You don't have to take the harness away just because they are 18kg, you can use it until they are too tall to fit in the harness. The 18kg is just a guide as most children weigh that much or more before they get too tall for the harness so what Britax mean is that the MINIMUM WEIGHT WITHOUT HARNESS must be 18kg but you can keep it on if your child is still small enough to fit into the harness.0
