Am I allowed to sell a staff shirt from Argos?

I have 2 shirts, one never opened and the other I never wore (I worked nights so it wasn't required).
Could I sell these on eBay?
Do they belong to Argos?
They are the shirts with the little Argos tag on the pocket.

I think you would be better asking Argos that question, rather than MSE members.
If Argos is anything like the company I work for, then the uniform that they issue is always their property, and re-selling it is classed as gross-misconduct.
I guess if you have to buy your own uniform then it may be a different case, but not many businesses do this.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
On a similar point my Nephew collects anything Olympic related and I have notcied that some of the orange B&Q fleeces now have Team GB badges. Do you think they will let me have one if i ask nicely?0

Did Argos give them to you or did you purchase them?
Either way its a big no no on selling them.0 -
The shirt is the property of Argos, you return it to them when employment ceases. So I would say selling it is technically theft. Personally I would not.0

He advertised it as "gay fettish/possible gay interest"
Dunno why, but it sold anyway...0 -

lol, are you sure it wasn't S & M?:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

I highly doubt they would just give you one, when i first started working for b&q they had none of the fleeces left and had to wear a second hand one for around 2 months as they couldnt just order in one at a time.0 -
MilkyJoe, wind-up surely?
Any uniform etc supplied by a company as part of your employment belongs o THEM. Get it?
It is surely bad enough having to have shirt weith Argos on it anyway without paying for the "pleasure"0
