Can you check in farther than 24 hours before your flight?

Hi I´m trying to print our boarding cards for my return flight but don´t you have to go via online check-in. I thought you could do this between 5 days and 4 hours beforehand? am I doing something wrong -

You are wrong, melb is right.

This has happened a few times recently, I'll have a search and see what I can find x

We're just back from flying with Ryan air and it is between 5 days and 4 hours, that's what it says on all their correspondance anyhow.

Silly question but you did click to check in for the outward flight, not just click on print boarding passes. You have to check in first.

I used it yesterday morning for a flight yesterday afternoon, so only about 6 hours before, if you can't get it working would suggest trying again within the 24hrs.

    Hey,

    How did you get on?

When you go into on-line check-in, you need to put in your reservation number first, then your email address. Then it asks what journey you're doing - remember you're going Spain to England, NOT England to Spain (they do come up differently if you do split check-ins)

Don't panic - if you get hugely stuck, pay the extra £4 to check-in at the airport and don't ruin your last day worrying about it.

Hi thanks for replying I clicked on check in online as I had for the outward journey nearly 2 weeks ago and it had details of both flights but there were boxes to tick for the outward flight only and no option to change it to return flight. I put in the flight details as Valencia to east Midlands but it just came up with our outward flights. Can you go straight to print out boarding cards without going through the online check in route. thanks
