Transferring 'old' shares PEP into ISA?

Hi

I have held shares in a PEP for many years now as well as share ISA's (opened when they closed the PEP scheme). The shares in the PEP are just sitting there and as they aren't able to reinvest the dividend in shares I just take out the cash every so often.

I'm trying to have a bit of a financial tidy up and was wondering whether there would be any benefit in tranferring the PEP shares into my ISA other than presumably the dividend being re-invested in shares ?

Any thoughts gratefully appreciated

Regards

PEPs dont exist any more. They are now classified as ISAs. So, there is no reason to transfer it unless you want to change the investments you hold inside of the ISA (nee PEP).

    Thanks Dunstonh

I suppose I still call it a PEPs as all correspondence that relates to it still comes through with the PEP tag on it. I think I'll just leave things as they are then

    Thanks again
