Board Layout pre and post registration

Hi,
I have been reading this site for years (and I'm on the mailing list).
Now the site itself is very good, however the reason I didn't sign up until today is because the forums were a nightmare to navigate. Now admittedly I am dyslexic but still the pages were nightmarish.

If only I had known that half of the annoying distracting 'filler' disappears when you sign up, I would have signed up a couple of years ago.
Sites do usually have a bit of 'filler' before you register but this site pre reg looked like it had been together by a three year old with ADHD after having drunk a litre of coke. I wonder how many others are put off of joining what is an other wise very good site/community, it seems a pity.

The layout of the board is different pre registration to post registration. There was so much excess stuff at the top it took me a good half a minute to locate the which forum your in bit.
