Lost your Nationwide ISA? Possible solution.

After ten months of trying to transfer, during which Nationwide lost three sets of documents, including my passbook, I finally cut the Gordian knot by opening a new Nationwide 6.15% Fixed Rate ISA (offered with 1,2 & 3 year options) by transfer from this other "lost" Nationwide instant access ISA.
It's not the best rate around, but also not a bad one. And at least it means than you are off their 4.8% rate and can stop beating your head against the Nationwide adminstrative brick wall.
The 3 year 6.15% option might even start looking good by early 2009 if a recession cools inflationary pressures and the Bank of England comes under pressure to cut rates.
