hi can anyone explain in very very simple english
how to add a photo to a post

Yes, put http://www.imageshack.us/ into your browser, click the 'Choose' button and then direct it to where you have the image you wish to show in your post, then click the 'host it' button. Give it a minute, it will upload the picture then present you with a selection of code boxes something like 'forum code 1' 'forum code 2' etc quite simply put your cursor in one of those boxes, then double click so that it all turns blue. Then right click select 'copy' to copy the code, then return to your mse post and click 'paste' and it will paste the 'forum code' of the image into your post.

Or you could whilst looking at the uploaded image on imageshack simply click on the image and it will be presented to you in all its glory in the middle of the page, then simply click in the address bar of the browser and copy that, then paste that into your mse post the only difference between the two ways is method 1 gives us a small image to click on, whilst method 2 gives us a url to click on.
