An oldie but still great.The
Lone Ranger's Last Request
The Lone
Ranger was ambushed and captured by an enemy Indian war party.
The
Indian Chief proclaims, 'So, you are the great Lone Ranger.
In honor of
the Harvest Festival, you will be executed in three days.
Before I kill you,
I grant you three requests.
What is your first request?'
The
Lone Ranger responds, 'I'd like to speak to my horse.' The Chief
nods and
Silver is brought before the Lone Ranger who whispers in Silver's ear, and the
horse gallops away.
Later that evening, Silver returns with a beautiful
blonde woman on his
back. As the Indian Chief watches, the blonde enters the
Lone Ranger's
tent and spends the night.
The next morning the Indian
Chief admits he's impressed.
'You have a very fine and loyal horse, but
I will still kill you in two
days.
What is your second request?'
The Lone Ranger again asks to speak to his horse. Silver is brought
to
him, and he again whispers in the horse's ear.
As before, Silver
takes off and disappears over the horizon.
Later that evening, to the
Chief's surprise,
Silver again returns, this time with a voluptuous
brunette, more
attractive than the blonde. She enters the Lone Ranger's tent
and spends the night.
The following morning the Indian Chief is again
impressed. 'You are
indeed a man of many talents, but I will still kill you
tomorrow.
'What is your last request?'
The Lone Ranger responds,
'I'd like to speak to my horse,.... alone.'
The Chief is
curious, but he agrees, and Silver is brought to the Lone
Ranger's tent.
Once they're alone, the Lone Ranger grabs Silver by both ears,
looks
him square in the eye and says,
Listen very carefully
for.... the.... last....f**king time,
I said.....

CompletelyLost wrote: »AB: I read your post a few days ago but haven't had the chance to reply. I understand what you said re: avoiding the problem, and I shouldn't be doing anything to please anyone except myself. BUT I do really want to do accountancy,
If you really want to do the course then go for it. Accountants earn a lot of money
I want to do it for myself not for them, so would I not better to jump on the bandwagon this September than waste another year? I'm so confused. Fortunately money isn't an issue for me - I live at home and pay minimal board, and have plenty of savings. Still, I would love to be at college and working part-time by xmas. Am I setting my hopes too high? I have felt scarily optimistic of late, it all feels too good to be true.
However you have to do what is right for you so whatever that is good luck with it:AAmber_Sunshine wrote: »Anything goes in Spain, sweetie.

There is a well-known local character who is heavily tattooed and strides around naked, whatever the season. Apparently he isn't mad, he just likes doing it.
And he has the biggest chorizo you've ever seen (no, I'm not taking photos) ...0 -
