:rotfl: OMG, can things get any worse? Poor you, having to suffer a prog you can't stand! I'm afraid I'm so eaily addicted... I watch 1 show then have to watch again and again, whither I love it or hate it! I don't have a favourite, no one stands out for me. I can't believe Leon is in the running for No 1! I wasn't impressed with his song. Maybe it'll grow on me.

I hope you qualify for PDSA treatment, that would be a big help. I'm not one to rely on others either so I can empathise with you.

I hope your weather keeps up.

Oh i'm sure they can, they usually do :o

Leon got to 3 and Geraldine to 2 in the end. Pink stayed at 1. I'm not sure who is worse out of those 3. I guess out of the 3 Leon is the best choice, Geraldine is erm.......:rotfl: and Pink is a less attractive Eddie Izzard :rotfl: Good to see Sash in at number 9 :T Really like dance music and he's excellent :T The charts are messed up these days though, with downloads, songs selling at different prices, some shops not stocking some of the singles and even people within the industry downloading their own clients songs in large quantities to manipulate the charts  Not to be taken seriously anymore.

I hope the PDSA can help too. I did some work for them so I wouldn't feel so bad if I ever needed them.

Weather gave in around 6pm and now strong winds and rain. :rotfl:

Posts get lost in here as it can move on quickly :o

Ahhhhhhh, so it's you that met the good one, leaving me with the bad one. That seems to happen far too often, me being left with Cruella :o:rotfl:

I gave up looking a long time ago, so I think i'm the exception to the rule :o looking gave up on me too :o

The only thing about me and speed dating would be the speed that I clear the room

Haha, that's very good :D I like jokes that cleverly play with language! :T

If you're really the exception to the rule, then perhaps you had better start looking again?! Just wonder around town giving looks to any and everyone :p

What a cute cat! Nearly as cute as your sentiments :o Thanks for the welcome. Much appreciated.

This place does have a warm, jolly ethos about it. Awesomeness.

Does anyone else have trouble sleeping? I've recently had trouble sleeping and I've no idea why :( I think it's probably because I intentionally stayed up late quite a lot last year because I used to hate sleeping (I'd just feel so lonely and scared for some reason!) and now I can't get out of the habit. I had Night Nurse a long, long time ago and that worked really well. I might give that a go and see if it nulls my mind a bit :j

  • A woman went to her doctor's office. She was seen by one of the new doctors, but after about 4 minutes in the examination room, she burst out screaming and ran down the hall. An older doctor stopped her and asked what the problem was, and she explained. He had her sit down and relax in another room. The older doctor marched back to the first and demanded, "What's the matter with you? Mrs. Terry is 63 years old, she has four grown children and seven grandchildren, and you told her she was pregnant?" The new doctor smiled smugly as he continued to write on his clipboard. "Cured her hiccups though, didn't it?"

    Hi all

Just a quick post and run from me at the mo. Got a busy day today, firstly going to see psychiatrist in a bit, then this afternoon I have a job interview. Couldn't plan it like that could you?!

My HV has written to the psych, I saw HV last week and we were talking about how I feel up and down thus appearing 'okay' if I'm having a good phase, even when it might not always be like that. Not sure what I'm going to say, I don't know what I really want out of my appointment. To him, it's more to check up on how I am, he seems more concerned about my chances of getting postnatal depression (had it badly after birth of DD1) than what's happening now as have never had 'antenatal depression' (something which is getting more and more talked about as a recognised condition.)

I'm not feeling great anyway, though can't tell if it's just a tough spell or if it's going to be something more. I think my pregnancy hormones have been helping so far, and I know I'm going to be stressed seeing the psych AND having a job interview on the same day so I guess I'll just talk it out and see what he says. I think I worry mostly that I'll come across as being okay, he'll say, fine, no need to make a further appointment, and then if I do get bad again I'll be kinda left out in the wilderness, no help with no 'label' iyswim?

My interview is where I worked up til April this year for going on four years but got made redundant. I was giving up on the hope of finding something as my bump is quite noticeable now but I figured have one last shot at it, I mean they know me, I always got good reports when I was working there, I know the job and I know the trouble they have with the staff turnover so having someone they don't need to train is going to be a big bonus. Or that's what I'm telling myself! My worry with this is that I go, fail it and then am left with knowing that I can't even get a job with someone who employed me for years!

My sick record from there isn't great (lots of time off with depression) so I am also worried about that, but despite how nervous and anxious I feel right now, I keep saying to myself that I'll feel much, much worse if I sack it off and don't go because then I'll never know if I could have done it. Although I must admit I am very tempted to... but I won't - I don't think.

Better go, got to get ready as I have to go straight from my psych appointment to get the bus up to where my interview is so have to get all dressed up now.

    Will pop in later xxx
