Woo hoo bunny well done on the job, I am sure its yours. sounds a bit like the one I am in now, went for second interview and stayed the rest of the day! Can i just ask or have I missed something, what was the training for, was that not a new job!

Luc, cat looks cute! sounds like you were talked out of it by some of us yesterday, but in your heart you really wanted the kitten. Go for it!

Our cat was called Flo but she just got called Cat. Then we got another and she was renamed Big Cat! And she did look like a big cat! She was about 18 when she died - thats when I said I would never get another, I was tempted for half a second just!

Our latest 'pets' are 2 Macleays Spectre stick insects. Sounds a bit strange, but they're really interesting to watch :D

I'd show you all a piccy, but dont know how

  • And Luc, I'm glad you agree with me, I personally think you will get years and years of happiness from a cat-I love my cats. (they were my 'furry babies' before we had the kids)

And it's nice to see a new Mom (well, Mom to be!) who's not all freaked out by a few germs, lol
Don't get me wrong, I was meticulous about making sure bottles and counter tops were sterilised etc and I like a CLEAN house but I think loads of people are a bit 'germ-phobic' these days and kids aren't left to build up an immune system.

If you hate germs you'd hate our house....

But saying that the girls don't get ill that often so there must be some truth in the immunity thing..

    Cats names huh?

Well, I had a gorgeous Maine Coon cat back in Canada and his name was Vincent Von Scratch-Vinnie for short.
I also had Moo, she was black and white like a cow.
I *had* Turkey and Turnip (now just poor wee Turney as he is called)

Luc, just to throw a slight spanner in the works-male cats TEND to be more loveable, saying that, Moo was soooo loving (she got eaten by a coyote poor thing)

I also had 2 long hair ginger cats growing up-Arlo and Leo.

If I had another cat I would probably call it Ceefur. (C fer cat! lol) and that kind of goes with your user name Luc! (Lu-cee-fer?!)

I also have always wanted a British Blue-if I had one of those, I'd call him Lloyd. Seems a good cat name to me.

Our cats were called Trixie, Tramp and Tinker when I was growing up. Trixie was Tramp's Mum and he was called Tramp as he had long hair which clumped easily so he looked like a Tramp!

I had a kitten a few years back called Trigger but we had to re-home him as he was petrified of the Dog we had at the time and my Sis had a kitten at the same time called Charlie (who wasn't scared of the Dog so she got to keep him), although he decided to move out one day and went to live up the road.
Apparently, he lived in someone's garden but refused to go in their house, so they built him a house in the garden to live in!!! He sometimes came and sat outside our house, but he seemed not know us, which was sad. When we moved 4 years ago, we had to leave him behind :(
