:grouphug: I_A - take it easy on yourself today. Its easy to be hard on yourself when you're feeling blue and that just makes things worse. Maybe spend time doing something fun with your girls rather than grind through a to do list?

The kitten is a girl kitten. Aunt J said the girl would be easier to look after than the boy and she was the cheekier of the two. Jasmine is another thought but would probably get shortened.

I went to bed last night having decided we weren't getting the kitten as that was the 'sensible' answer. Then I read Daph's and Bunny's posts on yesterday's chat and completely changed my mind :o so we're getting the kitty! :j The worst case is that cat and child don't get on and the cat will have to be rehomed. It will be heartbreaking if it comes to that but at least I won't be left wishing we'd gone for it. So BIIIIG thanks to Bunny and Daph.

    Lucifa

Looks a bit like my Munchkin (although he's gray where that one's red). I need to brush him every day otherwise it's a trip to the vets, sedation and fur trimming. Not a cheap job!

    morning all!

hello missus 74, nice one the bed all to yourself!

I am absolutely skint as hell as well.... don't get paid til next wednesday... i've been poor all month this month for some reason....

Big g took us out for tea last night, indian restuarant in the end, t'was yummy. we shared popadoms and starters, then he had a bhuna of some sort, and erin and i shared a chicken korma... not my first choice but it was something she would eat so it made sense for me n her to share... 2 glasses of wine, 2 glasses of lemonade and a beer - all in all the bill was £50 which was about right, but more than he had planned to spend.

When he was paying the bill the waiter came over with a doggy bag with a frozen dessert thing for erin to take away and asked us if we would like complimentary drinks?! i was like oooh yes please... so i had a baileys, erin had a j20 (i made her drink a tiny amount then take the rest home in the bottle, ever MSE!!) G just went outside for a fag!!

2 glasses of wine and a baileys, i was half cut!!! lovely way to spend a monday evening, and bonus freebies were lovely!!!

Erin's first day back to school today, primary 4! hope it goes well for her... bless!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....
    (it's part of my charm!)
