Free upgrade phone on Orange OVP Virgin

I am on the OVP plan - have been for about 5 years.
Just received this txt from orange "upgrade ur mobile FREE 2day. latest videophones on organge &3000 free xnet mins/month or 10% off ur l/rental" then gives a number to call.

this seems to good to be true - new phone and 3000 free xnet minutes.

has anyone else received this text?

Myself and my partner have phones on OVP Virgin tariff and we have both had a go at upgrading. Partner ordered and has received Sony Ericsson K300i and the courier tried to deliver my Nokia 3120 whilst I was out today so it looks good for me too. Both free and must remain on the tariff for another 12 months at £0 per month!

However, it took 4 attempts to get my order to go through. The first 3 times I got a voicemail from Orange saying "because you're on the Virgin Tariff you can't upgrade for free" but finally it went through.
