Best place for phone accessories?

Bought a HTC P3600 on ebay this evening to alleviate the need to get a new phone through contract - however to give it a bit of a make over I wanted to purchase a new case for it. Can't seem to find them for sale other than on ebay - does anyone know of any good accessories shops that may sell fascias, ideally official ones?

What you have there is a HTC Trinity. That's its original development codename which sometimes is used in preference to its multitude of vendor names (Orange SPV M700, Vodafone VPA Compact GPS, etc..), either way, it's the same phone so you can search for all of them to find other sources.

Anyway, you asked about cases. There's a bunch on MobileFun and more at Expansys. The official cases (ie the one that comes with the device) are usually like this. They are effectively quite basic and there are a lot better ones on the market.

I tend to favour the aluminium cases (PDair on MobileFun and Proporta on Expansys - have used one of each). I tried a leather one and it lasted about three days before I was sick of having to use to hands to get the phone out of the case to check if I had a message. The ones you can open with one hand soon get old because closing them with one hand is a pain. The crystal cases are not too bad and, as your phone has no QWERTY keyboard, it might be that they are quite suitable. If you want strictly fascias (not cases) then you will need to look for them as spares as you are not exactly meant to take the phone itself apart.

The Martin Fields screen protectors are better than the rest (although if you have one fitted already - if it is 2nd hand, you might have the stock one fitted) I wouldn't replace it - the stock ones are a pain to remove (they use glue), so if it is not broken don't mess with it.

And, if you didn't get a headset adapter with your phone (should come as standard, if its second hand it might have been lost or kept for the new phone), you will want one of these. The mic is in the lapel clip, you just use a standard set of 3.5mm headphones in the socket. If you can find one of the official TyTN II hands-free cables, they are even better! (They have more buttons and should be compatible).

Also, if you have not had a WM phone before, have a quick ganders down this thread -

plus that page on the XDA Wiki should link to a bunch of things you can do quickly and easily (like a bunch of registry tweaks) to improve the speed, usability or looks.
