    I don't shop at Asda normally so not 100% certain, but I believe they changed their policy at the beginning of November. It was stated that they wouldn't take coupons anymore unless you bought the products, (I did see a post with a copy of an email from Asda confirming this). However, there are still people saying that some stores allow them to be used when not purchasing the product (as yours did) but I think they are only letting you use a small amount. I guess it will be a case of trying it and seeing how it goes. You could always try Tescos if no/limited sucess with Asda.

    By the way, do you happen to visit a craft forum too?

    Thanks, I must have been lucky then. Yes I post on lots of craft forums and can often be found blog hopping on various challenge sites.

    Now here's a first....at the checkout in Tesco yesterday my friend was asked if she had any moc's she would like to use....now isn't that a nice change?
    I used all I had today in a different Tesco with absolutely no probs at all...must be Christmas!!!

    Christmas feeling did not last long...went to a different Tesco today and all my coupons were scrutinised like I was trying to pay with forged notes. She looked at my Guardian Friday coupon as if it was covered in dog s*** and then told me it actually said on the coupon that it can't be used on Fridays...really( I won't tell you what I said)but she did take it very reluctantly ....then the Couponnet Wagg dog food was refused point blank as she had never heard of it...even though it is for sale...I asked her to check, even try scanning it..yes it was sold she found out from the checkout supervisor she would not try scanning it as it would make the till go funny if it was not sold.... but it was too late anyway as she had totalled up the bill....Aaaaarrgghh!!!!I went to customer services to have a little moan and was told that as they only take coupouns with the 'tick' on them maybe she had not noticed the ' tick'.....Aaaaaargghhhh!!!
    Won't be going there again, I just want a quiet life...after all it is Christmas.

    HI,
    Just thought I would let you know what Asda have said to me:

    I showed the e-mail that I have had forwarded to me and they said that the service team member who sent it have sent a copy of their old policy by mistake, and said their new policy came into effect on the 3rd of November. They said it was on the computer system and I was free to have a look, but they only take coupons for items brought now. So looks like my Asda's are following the new policy.
    Thanks for any help and advice given
    ~~~Nicky~~~
