Hi all, bit of a newbie on this I wonder if someone can confirm I have the right idea please.
Can I use the £2 Glen Whiskey coupon in store off any product no minimum spend, and the cashier will be fine with it?
thanks.
Yes you can in many Tesco and Waitrose stores, better to use the actual newspaper version though if you have any. It's the original moc after all, and less likely to affect the coupon policy in the long run than the screenshot printable.
Some stores don't accept internet prints though and overuse of the Glava £2 printable is bound to cause problems to Supermarkets and to the manufacturer as it has a long expiry date and no print restriction.
And as usual for newbies the best advice is to avoid the self scan; you don't have to feel you are hiding anything and it may look worse for you if found frantically bunging coupons into the slot! You are best going to a friendly, youngish cashier to try using mocs (one of each moc per day in Tesco). You will soon learn who to avoid, and indeed whether your local store has a maximum % restriction for mocs.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks Coupon mad, I appreciate it.
One thing though, when browsing coupon net and coupon watch etc, how do I know which printable coupons are likely to work in Tesco and which ones not? Is it just by researching on here to see what people have said?
Long time ago I tried scanning coupons at ASDA but the machine embarrassed me by shouting that a CS was needed, and they opened the coupon box and rejected them for some reason! So I'm a bit nervy about this so i may use an out of town Tesco tomorrow to save my blushes somewhat!
I'm thinking of trying this "mitchum" £1 one if I can find it on a small purchase of about £3-4 to start off with, if anyone has any advice it'd be greatly appreciated.
The bit i'm most nervous about is the cashier embarrassing me by looking at me gone out when I go to buy a pasta salad but paying in part with a voucher for deodorant....0 -

We all need to do all we can to maintain tescos generous policy in accepting NSS coupons.
I have a printer now hun, but at the time I didnt and therefore resorted to ebay - I am fine with the fact that I bought them from ebay, as I know that I only bought the coupons that didnt have unique bar codes or hadnt been altered to give a longer date. Like I said, not everyone is out to abuse the policy - personally I want it to carry on for as long as possible so I dont want to do anything to jeopodise that;)0 -
Tatler £2.80 was yesterday's paper. Easy £2.00 is for today's paper. Both scan at T.
If it is good enough for the T staffs, it is good enough for me to use as well.
Oh btw, "Edna" we miss you... PTS website is abit boring ... no fun in it... MSE is much better we all can have our happy banter here:wave: GOODBYE0 -
Has anyone had any difficulty in the last 24 hours printing on Couponnet.
I tried at home last night and it said sending 2 coupons to your printer and nothing happened. I know the printers OK as I printed some other stuff fine. What can cause this? I'm missing out on a £1 and a 40p !!!If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0
