Center Parcs

I've never been but I think it would be a good break for myself and my partner and possibly a couple of friends.

Is there anywhere you can pick up last minute deals / late availablity offers? Or is it best to just hang on for an offer code?

Is it still worth going during the winter?

I'd say winter is best. Get a nice cheap midweek break in December or January/February with a discount code as well then use the pool for most of the time and collect Tesco deals for use in a couple of the restaurants (if it's Longleat) - perfect.

I'd go with that - Center Parcs is great when it's quieter, and there's few places better to just chill out and relax.

Of course, if you want to do something more strenuous than walking through a forest or having a coffee by a lake, then it'll cost you a fortune.

  • We've been to Center Parcs about 4 times on the last 2 years since our son was born. We always go out of season and we get good deals which get either posted or emailed to us from them. You will find once you've booked once you will get better deals sent to you. We're going this year on Dec 19th for a mon-fri break and paying just over £300 for a two bedroom executive lodge which is a good deal as we've saved about 20 or 25%. That code was mailed to us. But the one code I've used a lot in the past was FAMILY. Don't know if it still works (you have to have a child under 5 travelling with you)

    Hello:hello:

We are going to centre parcs in cumbria in two weeks (got a good deal thanks to a code on this site) plus converted my tesco points to eat out:T

Anyway was wondering is it worth hiring bikes - taking dd (age 2) is the cost for the whole stay?

I have booked the froglet swimming for DD and was thinking about booking the handprint thing any other sugggestions please?

We've always hired bikes or taken our own. It makes life a lot easier. If you hire them you just get them for the length of your stay.

When we use to go to Center Parcs in the UK we always went in winter. It's much cheaper and it's really nice swimming outside in the dark on a freezing day.

Nowadays we tend to go to the European Center Parcs as they are cheaper than the UK ones. Especially when their school holidays don't co-incide with ours.
It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die
