Can I ask how long does it take from when you get the despatched email til it's actually delivered?
I'm still in shock from getting the email yesterday the last 4 times I've ordered I get a few emails weeks later saying it's all out of stock.

You can track the parcel online if you want. Usually takes 2 or 3 days. If you go into your M & S account and view the order then you can track the parcel if they have sent it by HDN.

Thanks 80934 that just shows parcel data received. Sorry I'm just so excited (how sad is that) at finally getting a sale order delivered that I want it now. No patience at all.

I ordered 19 things on Tuesday night and by yesterday I had received everything. Same happened in the last sale, got everything I orderd.

    I am sooooo jealous! :o

My experience was totally different last year.
I ordered really early on the first day of the sale, and got nothing but a series of e-mails moving delivery dates, then saying the items were out of stock.
I was totally frustrated by the whole experience esp when I phoned customer [STRIKE]dis[/STRIKE]service and was told that they would only speak to my OH as he is the first name on our joint credit card!
I assured the SA my OH did not wear women's clothing but they still refused.

By the time OH finished complaining we had £20 in vouchers, which I spent instore. Have not bothered since as the stock control is still haphazard.
I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.
  • It has only been the last 2 sales where I have received everything I ordered, the previous ones had been a disaster with only getting a few things dispite ordering on the evening before the actual sale started.

Hopefully they now have the site organised.

I do not agree that M & S have fixed their website problems - once again I placed my orders bang on at the start of online sale 10pm previous evening, and low and behold I have had endless out of stock emails from M&S eversince. Exactly the same thing happened to me at the last online sale - okay I do receive some of the items, but I still feel first come first served and I checked the stock levels and it was showing between 10-20 in stock on most of my items.
  • Any sign yet of further in store mark downs?
I'd like to go back to my nearest branch and have a second look round, but it does involve a bit of an effort and to go just to look at the same prices as I saw last time wouldn't be much fun.
So, if any of you do spot further markdowns, the intelligence would be most useful!!!
    Thanks.

As far as I know they go down weekly from the day the sale started?
  • They went down again today but not by much. A top I'd bought at £15 had gone down to £12. I think some of the kids stuff had gone down again, saw some nice boys t shirts for £2.
  • Surfing Spaniel!!!
Thanks for that; I'll have a look tomorrow at my local store...
