At the bottom of the sales page it does say "Home event Starts 21st August..." and has a link to home and furniture, but I can't find any discounted items yet.

I had four - or was it five - emails today to say my sale things have been despatched...and nothing's out of stock! I can't believe it, it might even arrive before I go on holiday. This is definitely a first for me.

I went instore today to return some of the things I got on Tuesday and spotted children's dressing up outfits in the sale. I got a pirate £5, superman £7 and a princess dress for £9. Shopping early for Christmas!

I was in the Chester branch on Tuesday, first day of the latest sale, and thought it was quite cack compared to the last one - not a huge array of sale items and disappointingly no sale items in the beauty section. Oh well!

I went to the M&S sale instore today and got 2 pairs of Dr Who pyjamas. Long sleeves and long legs with pictures of Daleks on the front £3 they only had age 13-14 and age 16 though. Should keep them warm when we can't afford to light the central heating this year.

OK, so the sale started on Tuesday and will almost certainly continue as is over the Bank Holiday weekend. When will they start cutting sale prices even further? And does anybody know how the M&S policy works? Do they make fixes percentage cuts off of exsiting reductions?

The home ware event is 20% off. They do this every bank holiday.

Not sure of the date for further reductions yet, but you can never tell what price they'll be.
