Phone Contract + Free Gift
Hi guys. I'm looking for a new contract deal at the moment and was thinking rather than faffing around with cashback, I'd go for a free gift. Can anyone reccomend retailers who provide the free gift at the same time as the phone instead of the 28 days thing?
I'm after a laptop or preferably an Asus Eee webbook on a 12 month contract for <£30 a month. A lot to ask, I know but there seems to be some decent deals around, it's just a case of stumbling upon them...
Thanks a lot!!!

Dial-a-phone only have an HP laptop as a free gift, not a webbook. It seems you get a "free" laptop when you pay £300 for a basic handset in addition to line rental.... not so free afterall methinks!
All Phones4u contracts are 18 months and start at £40 with a free laptop... again not such a good deal
CPW fare slightly better, free phone, but 18 month contract and £30 per month for an Elonex webbook, still not such a good deal. Funnily enough, mobiles.co.uk (also part of CPW offer the same deal on a 12 month contract!)
I'm gonna keep on looking...0 -
Only one of the well known companies that sends out the gift with the phone and doesn't make you go through all sorts of hoops, claim back procedures or has the "we'll send it out after 28 days subject to stock however we can send you something completely different and you're pretty much stuffed it we feel like it" approach (sure I've seen some examples of this happening on here) is the Link.
This was the case when I last looked into phone deals but I guess that it should be different in the case of mobile broadband with free laptop deals as it would make them useless unless you already had something else to use it on.
Anyway, they have a deal with Vodafone on their homepage with an Advent netbook and 1GB a month for £20 a month on a 24 month contract or 3GB a month for £30 a month again on 24 month contract. Think they have something similar on 3 as they seem to be promoting 3 quite a lot.0 -
I'm after a mobile phone deal with a free gift. I've very little use for mobile broadband.
I'll explore the Link offers0 -
has anyone had any experiences with the Link with regards to delivery/customer service?0
