Virgin Media new customer - can i beat the online deal?

I have just moved any my new place the normal ariel does not work so I'm basically being forced to go onto Virgin Media.
I want decent broadband and TV with V+ (I used to be content with my recordable freeview).
The best offer I can find on VM's site is the £16 for 'L' Broadband, 'M' TV and 'M' phone. Stick the V+ on this and its looking to be £31/m plus £75 set-up, which I consider alot.
Has anyone got experience of beating this offer?
