Wow, what do you fill two cases with? All I ever bring back is Tim Hortons coffee and Miracle Whip!

    Haven't you gone yet? ;)

Our last box of Tim Hortons donuts got all the way home last month - there's a Tim Hortons in the departure lounge at YVR now :D

One novel thing to note - the food prices at all the outlets in the airport are the same low prices as they are in 'the real world' for everything....now why doesn't that happen in Europe???

Getting back to the empty suitcases....they normally come back full of clothes, shoes and bedlinen, due to the £1 = $1 price for most things (or better). They don't actually go out empty anyway - supplies of PG Tips, chocolate, Thornton's and sweets are usually ordered well in advance of our trips, along with unusual things like Zoflora (beats me  ).

I did want to bring back a smoking cabinet from Canadian Tire this year, but for some reason my good lady wouldn't let me....

    The Bear,

I have recently been looking into finding our how much you would actually have to pay on VAT and Tax if you do declare that you have more than your allowance when going through customs. for example if i were to travel from outside the eu coming into the eu and i went through the declare side with 1,000 cigarettes, purchased for say £100 then how much would i end up paying for these cigatettes?

    Thanks
