mobiles and credit check

hi all,
just a question on credit checks and mobile phone contracts.
my credit file is less than favourable however to my great surprise in may this year i applied for a contract phone through carphone warehouse on the web and was accepted.
i tried for my OH yesterday in his name with a very good credit file history but he was declined, does anyone know if they do another check if your allready a customer with them as i was thinking i could maybe get it in my name although if he was declined i reckon i would be.
it baffles me sometimes how they decline credit to ppl with an alright credit file yet give to someone with a less than perfect one.:eek: ps forgot to mention it was with t mobile

just make sure when you try for another handset you tell them its an additional handset on your account. Usually as long as you have 3 months clear billing its ok.0
