Good Afternoon everyone, my first 'log-on' of the day. I have actually been doing work this morning and aiming to complete the document I'm working on before I go home at 4pm!!!
I'm up for promotion at work, but there are 3 other people who have applied as well so I'm a bit nervous, however I have been covering the job since Feb so hope that will swing in my favour!!!!
Just wanted to say....
Sammy - congrats on passing your exams and don't worry about the one you missed out on, 4% is easy to rectify on a re-sit.
Bunny - good luck on your interview, what job is it for? (sorry I am fairly new to all the forums so don;t know a lot about people yet).
Lucifa - just get the puppy when the baby arrives/is toddling. I would say that thou as I'm not a cat person, love my doggie too much!!! I haven't got kids either so in actual fact, my opinion is not very well researched for this.
DID - sorry to hear you got made redundant, but it will bring you lots of new and exciting challenges! Plus, you get your pay out!
Suzy - congrats on selling your house
BB - Glad this morning went well, get some rest before you come down with a cold or something!
I hope that's everyone! Phew! Sorry if I missed anyone out
My (younger) sister announced at the weekend that she is getting married and has chosen April 2010. She's asked me to be maid of honor
This week I am going to attempt a credit card shuffle after reading about it on here and also use my savings to pay off (some of) the most expensive credit card after the shuffle has taken place! I'm feeling good about it all!
Best get back on with some work, am also working tonight so might not be back until tomorrow.....have a great day everyone!Sept '08-Natwest Loan [strike]£15,378.68 [/strike] £14,582.44

My cat, Dennis loved to sleep in the pram and cot when our 1st baby was born, especially the pram because he could weedle his little furry way under the foot cosy and fall asleep in the little hammock at the bottom.
A few times when I unzipped the foot cosy to put ds in the pram, a very bewildered, sleepy cat plopped out onto the floor!

Oh Linda, thanks for the post on Friday's thread about alternatives to flossing!!! Just had a quick read over to catch up on what I missed when I logged off. I'll take a look in Boots next time I'm in there!Sept '08-Natwest Loan [strike]£15,378.68 [/strike] £14,582.44

afternoon all! bit late in joining the party today as am not at work.....!!!
Erin goes back to school tomorrow (primary 4!!  ) so i took the day off work to be with her, rather than put her to out of school club, hardly worth it for one day, and saving £21!
We didn't get outta bed until 1030, fabulous!!!
Well done on the exam sammy, you are my hero! re the 4% fail, it's miniscule, so i know you'll be right next time... but ouch to 4 exams at once.
Happy birthday to DD Louise.
Well done on the house sale Suze, and you only have to look at Bunny and OH to see how living apart can sometimes work out for the best...
And bunny, heading home to your own house to get ready for interview, you dirty stop out you!!!:D Hope you knocked them dead honey!!
Lucifa, as a person who loves cats (and dogs) i would say that it doesn't make much sense to get a young kitten before the baby is born. maybe dad is being a tad overdramatic but cats will get jealous of new babies, especially if the cats are young themselves... not to mention the extra housework when it's the last thing you need.... persians are hairy beasties aren't they?!
DID - sorry about the job, but the payout will be nice, and if you embrace the challenges, it'll be the best thing that ever happened to you.... it mightn't feel like it now but it will in time.
Hello to everyone else! and ((hugs)) to those who need them!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

I couldn't resist any longer and bought the first item of baby clotes - a wee red s/s body suit from baby gap with treasu(red) written on it from the range that supports the AIDS charity in Africa. I also got a couple of books - one for Hubbles and one for me, plus a cookbook called 'Cherry cake and Gingerbeer' which seems to be all about famous five food!!!:p26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073
