:T Hi boys and girls.......todays list! You should be used to this one now! In fact if you have been doing as you are told for the last two weeks there should be very little to do in the kitchen!

Anyway the news is that I passed my tax exam with flying colours and failed my other exam by 4%  Oh well, will have to retake in December and I am determined that that will be the last time I have to do a resit...(I am still really pleased I passed my tax exam!)

Off to work shortly to give them the good news...:T

Monday Marvels - Kitchen and Dining Room
Level One
Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
Level Two
Sweep and mop floors
Sort & clean the fridge

Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary)
Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Wipe & declutter all the windows sills in these areas!!
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
Check those washing machine filters and drawers for ickiness!! Tumble dryer, cooker hood and dishwasher filters need to be done too!!
Extra Mission : help yourself

  1. S&S over the hob and oven
  2. Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
  3. 32 fling boogie..
  4. GO! buy yourself a treat.. you deserve it!
  5. Empty the bin.. wash it out.. and make it smell SWEET

    :T :T Congratulations on the tax exam Sammy:T :T

I am back to work today after 2 weeks holiday and 1 weeks sickness and I am so excited about going back.....................not!

Only on short time though as no students in till September so only at work 3 days 9am - 3pm:D

I should also find out sometime this week wether I will be given the business lecturers post which I have been sort of promised but as with everything in education these days I have to see what the intake is like:rolleyes:

Off to Flylady the kitchen in a bit before I go to work and then do dining room when I get back......unless I am distracted of course;)
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Congratulations on passing the tax exam Sammy.

I managed to vacuum the bedroom carpet this morning as well as dust upstairs.

I won an ebay auction yesterday so that's one christmas present sorted (only another 20 to sort out) but it's a start.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Sammy - after wayne found what he 'thought' was a mouse dropping my kitchen is spotless. He even cleaned out and washed the cupboards to check if there was any evidence of an unwelcome visitor as well as the oven (after I suggested that a mouse could enter via the air vent:rolleyes:). I suppose I *could* clean the fridge out again or even defrost the freezer:eek:

  • Morning Sammy, Lou and Cat!

Congrats Cat! How lovely and exciting about you and little wee Bean!

That Fly-Lady thing is torturous (is that the correct spelling?)

Good luck with the interview bunny. Finger's crossed for you (though it makes typing just a little bit difficult with crossed fingers).
