I only use Dulux now as it's much harder wearing.

Avoid Homebase paint. It's patchy and doesn't cover well.

I used B&Q own make kitchen and bathroom paint in my bathroom and I thought it was brilliant, it went on well (one coat) and its actually really good in the bathroom, will wipe over nicely and the water collects on it and runs off, so really is good for bathroom. Im now doing it in my kitchen as I didnt bother before, just used normal emulsion and its flaked so much, looks horrible.
Have used Dulux once stuff in my living room and hallway and thought it was rubbish, had to have 2, some 3 coats, for the money wish Id just gone for normal emulsion. (Oh and doesnt wipe clean well either, had to paint over my neice's pencil marks!)
