Theres probably a thread already on here, but I cant find it! lolHas anyone got a link on how to make cookies? I just need to know what the ingredients are, thought I would make some from scratch for a change rather than keep on buying them as my daughter is addicted to them at the min! thanks

Can anyone point me in the direction of the lovely cookies recipe? They were like millies cookies, chewy and lovely, hmmm. I made some before and have lost the recipe and now can't seem to find it. Any ideas? Thank you XxX0

Is this the one?
200g soft butter
75g caster sugar
125ml condensed milk
250g plain flour
1tsp baking powder
300g choc chips
Cream butter and sugar, stir in condensed milk, fold in flour and baking powder, and stir in choc chips. Roll into balls and bake for about 15 mins at GM4 until lightly golden. Let cool on baking sheets for only about 2 mins before transferring to a cooling rack. Keep kids out of kitchen while they cool as they are also yummy when slightly warm, and you may not have many to put away otherwise. I find these quantities make about 2 dozen.

MILLIES COOKIES

[FONT="]3oz brown sugar (can just use all white granulated, works just fine)[/FONT]
[FONT="]vanilla essence[/FONT]
[FONT="]1 egg[/FONT]
[FONT="]6oz s/r flour[/FONT]
[FONT="]pinch salt[/FONT]
[FONT="]4oz choc chips[/FONT]
[FONT="]Preheat oven to 180c.[/FONT]
[FONT="]Mix all ingredients together. [/FONT]
[FONT="]Put spoonfuls on greaseproof paper and cook for 11 mins precisely.[/FONT]
[FONT="]Cookies should still be soft when they come out of the oven, they will harden a bit. [/FONT]
[FONT="]Peel off greaseproof when they cool.[/FONT]

They are soooo lovely, I din't have enough chocolate so added a few porridge oats and chopped apricots YUMMY.
Made 24 large cookies, better than Millies IMHO:rotfl:0
