littlesnuggy wrote:Thanks for your replies! I think I'm going to go with the 'everyday cookies' using Queenie's recipe.
I'll make up the basic recipe with the butter, sugar & flour, then split it into 3 and add cocoa to one, ginger to the other and nuts & dried fruit to the other.
Do you think it would work ok substituting butter with Flora original, only I've got quite a lot to use?!
Don't know about using Flora. I only use butter in mine, which gives them a lovely melt-in-the-mouth texture. If I had a lot of Flora to use, I'd start ny replacing half.

I just cant seem to get the hang of the search facility on here.
I am in need of a basic cookie recipe and any links or recipes posted will be gladly appreciated xx

I've made those a couple of times with cocoa powder then sprinkle hot chocolate powder over them. (And I crumbled them up in some quark with honey in too for a quick pudding the other night.)May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0

I searched this for you but there were so many threads I thought it was worth just telling you how to find them.
Go back to the old style front page. The green bar at the top of this thread will say 'search this forum'. Click on that. Then choose 'advanced search.' Change to 'search titles' and type in cookie, cookies, biscuit or biscuits. There are dozens of threads to choose from.
I'm going to go back and have another look for more ideas.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
