So Im on item number one of my personal list:

Phone argos and have them replace mattress-done, they'll be here between 7 and 12 on Friday (someone remind me please)
I've been sleeping on the sofabed in the lounge for the last few days because I've been up to stuff after the boys go to bed and didnt want to disturb them. Last night I slept in the bed and I have NO IDEA how DH has been sleeping on it! Im sure I had spring rings imprinted in my bum! We only bought it when we moved in here so I called to see if it could be switched.

Having looked high and low (including my nice concertina filing system) I still couldnt find the delivery note. Thankfully I still had the order number saved in my email:j also I noticed some yucky brown stuff on my file (YUCK), asked DH what he thought it was and was told "oh yeah-LO threw up saturday night while you were out-I obviously didnt clean up real well.
So adds two new tasks for me to get done real quick:
    2) Check under mattress to make sure slats are properly clean
    3) Refile in new concertina and bring random filing downstairs to do this evening.

I guess I'll put his bedding in the wash with the throws and curtains (lounge ones need doing of choccie fingers), his bedding looks okay but who knows, sounds like DH just did a flip:(
I'll leave my bedding til Friday, has to come off for the switch anyway.

G&B Just saw about LO going to school, how cute-can't wait to hear what she thinks of her teachers:)

Think Ill join in HHC for 10am

I am Jackie, the problem is it's slowing me down as I keep getting sidetracked and watching stuff!

  • Morning ladies

gandb hope LO has a lovely 1st day and it wasn't too traumatic for you

kazm our cat sleeps in a plant pot at the door too. It was meant to be my garlic, but he has flattened it. And brings no end of compost in on his fur.

I'm not doing too badly really - i've decided to start weaning ds2 today, as he is gnawing away like a good one, and pulling on my plate sat on my knee, and generally just a big hungry heffer. All the waking in the night is getting to me too, so i thought just a bit of baby rice as he is only 15 weeks and i know it is earlier than recommended, but i don't see the harm in trying as long as i'm sensible with it. Will hopefully then see a bit of a routine. We've been seeing a one of sorts but the nightime is still so unpredictable and it is wearin me out.

    Anyway, achieved:
    • WM - load of darks
    • kids up/dressed/fed/washed, nappies done and ds2 down for a nap
    • veg chopped for lunch
    • veg chopped and in SC for stew for dinner, SC had to be washed first as it was a bit dusty
    • checked baby book for weaning tips
    • washed up weaning bowl/spoon and sterilised ready to use
    • watered pepper seedlings
    • put last nights washing up away, washed up breakie dishes
    • wiped up sticky handprints from ds1 having a lolly - he found one from a party bag, i don't normally let him have the things. swapped kitchen tea towel

Didn't seem to get much done in my HHC

Emptied the WM and hung all the washing on the line in the vain hope that it might dry.
Stripped my bed ( so that'll be one less job on tomorrow's list) and loaded it in the WM.
