I just wanted to say "thanks" for the pointer to MbAM. I had gotten a dual infection of XPAntiVirus/Trojan.Blusod, managed to hack out most of it with SAV (not my choice, corporate machine) in safe mode but there were lots of problems left behind, most notably the inability to visit most "known" AV hosts. MbAM took care of it quickly and easily.
