My experience with AOL has been a good one for many years and just got better.
Feeling the pinch like everyone else I realised 14.99p/m for broadband alone was excessive. I read through Martyn's guide, and was going to opt for tiscali option 1
(http://www.tiscali.co.uk/products/talk/?code=ZZ-NL-11GK&srccode=)
Phoned AOL for MAC, spoke to a nice Irish girl called Virginia who offered me:
8 Mb unlimited broadband
Free unlimited UK landline calls
Free wireless router
12 month contract 6.99p/m.
Ebay the router, no fussing with new providers, cheaper, faster. win win.
I have only ever had one problem with AOL when I forgot the pasword for my router which i had hanged (my fault). Then it was sorted out in less than 10 min by tech support.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is gift; that is why it's called the present.

i spoke to someone earlier on today and they offered me a new package with a 'free' !!!!!y Thompson speedtouch modem to replace my old and 'imcompatible' brilliant Netgear, a 'faster' speed of 8mb (i am already on 8mb but he insisted i am only on 3mb) with a new tied down 12 month con' for the bargain price of 12.99, not bad except at the moment I only pay 9.99! well, top that for a deal!!!!!! :rotfl: I dont know how I refused :rotfl:0
