I called into bank today and got some change bags, so going to empty my bottle and bag it up and start afresh.

Will have the following..............large bottle for £1 & £2 for next years holiday. ( saved £580 in it last year)

Coffee jar for 1p and 2p.............for grandsons account

Jam jar for silver.......................for grandsons account

I have decided I will empty coffee and jam jar on 28th month from 28th September and put inot the bank.

I am alwasy picking up coppers of bedroom floors as kids do not see it as REAL money and just seem to through it away :eek: Righ off to start counting lol

more silver gone in the jar bf went out today so hounded him wen he got in to empty his pockets into the jar 9i let him keep the 50p as he was whining!!) so some more silver gone in !!!!

lol, I have a moan every now and then as well; DH is getting quite good at just emptying his wallet and pockets now!

Last night the man at the car park gave us £5 in 50ps.... I looked at him and grinned, and he was like "No way hosea"

I have a sealed money tin from £land... it's mahoosive and I'de like to get the best part of it full for xmas- but it really is very big. I'd start a jamjar but there's no way I'd fill both!

I love those sealed tins, my nan collects 50p and £1s in them, and usually ends up with near £200!!!!
