No I,ve heard nothing I will add that my address on the letter gives my address as 125 but it,s 125A but my neighbor and I get on very well so any letter to 125 would get to me without any bother.

In my opinion they are just trying to frighten you. You can check with Northampton County Court Office - tel. 0845 408 5302 www.hmcourts-service.gov.uk/cms/1093.htm

I think this is the second post re "unpaid CCJs" which have not been notified to the defendant in the last 12 hours, both relating to BC.
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing
  • hi,

saw a few of you have been writing about this company and wanted to share my experience with you and hopin maybe some can offer advice.

i wrote to bryan carter last week about my outstandin debt, explaining i wasnt working but had gone to debt advice line and wrote to offer them a token payment.

when i told the lady this ( a miss mohammed) she sniggered down the phone at me and told me to call the county court!

i am really annoyed at the way she spoke to me, really tempted to call back 2mo and complain! xx

    Hi

    Welcome to the forum
told me to call the county court!
What's the situation with this, have you been issued with court papers, have you been to court already?
Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

Yeah they are the same company number on the letter is FI, also when I rang it someone just answered the phone and said... 'ello...'

Address is some drive as well... sounds like they're operating out of a bedroom or something.

  • I guess the more charges they lay on to your account before they sell it on would mean a higher price for them and a lot of extra aggro for you to try sorting it out with the new company who will refuse to accept or do anything about.
have ust got a statement from Byan Carter, showing that MORE charges were added, some time after the original court claim..

how can they do this?? as i do not recal seeing a second summons/judgement.

the original claim balance was paid off LAST YEAR, and I thought that was that- nothing heard from them until another charge add on just recently..

i would appreciate some help wording a letter on basis of this, and request (or asking?) them to reverse the 2nd lot of charges, or this will just go on and on, with fees buioding to exceeed the original debt!
