Tescomobile: 150mins/500txts not as good anymore?

So who's the best pay as you go now?

It's annoying the way things are made overly complicated to befuddle direction comparisons.

To cut through it all I compare by thinking:

SIM only and cross network minutes only.

Regarding 3: With stretch it is 5p/min but this only lasts for 30 days. I personally have an additional 3 SIM and phone but I save it for internet only due to bad reception and bad N80 battery life. I think the 30 day thing could nobble me.

Tesco: 150mins deal makes it 10p/min but that rises to 20p/min after 150mins are used.

Other things to consider: What about calling the same numbers often? This is something I now tend to do more of. Tesco no longer does the favorite numbers and Vodafone family, while good needs £5/month commitment and has high cross network rates on other numbers.
Order of events: Banks lose our money -> get bailed out -> were inflating GBP to cover it -> now taxing us -> next will grab your funds direct -> things get really desperate to balance the books. What should have happened?: banks go bust and we lost our money much quicker

You've got the Teso deal wrong.

Top up by £15 and you get 150mins free.
Spend the £15 on 3 x calls 50 and get another 150 mins

    Total £15 = 300mins = 5ppm cross network

BTW if you dont want to have 30 day expiry then:

    Asda offer 16p for 1st 3mins, then 8ppm

Virgin offer 15ppm with 5 mins free per day - best for users with less than 10mins per day.

ps Tesco do still offer 5 fav numbers.

Thank you everyone, especially Bikeman; I thought I was losing something because it says I have to opt-in for the offer.

The other prices are good now too. What deal is that hillendate? Is it a 1 month contract of some sort is what you mean? My girlfriend is on Orange. I wonder if there's advantage in changing to that...
