Not fussed what make of phone, under £50 if possible.

the only one i can think of at the moment is the sony ericsson W810i, but you can only really find it on ebay now0

Need quadband as phone is for hubby who is in the military and it needs to work all over the world with him when he goes away.0

quadband is only going to make a difference in a handful of places, tri band is more than adequate for 99% of the worlds population
although buying a brand new tri band unlocked is difficult for £50, not impossible but difficultthings arent the way they were before, you wouldnt even recognise me anymore- not that you knew me back then

This is true, there is barely any quadband coverage out there tbh which is why i queried it. If he is in one place for any length of time he may be better picking up local sim cards if possible, can work out cheaper, have you looked at the 3 skype phones? Might be worth checking if the skype calling part works abroad too?0
