Would really like to see some examples of this 50% drop...
Real 50% drops, mind. Not just sales drops from absolutely ridiculous prices quoted by builders who then drop 50% to make you think you're getting a bargain.
Bit like MFI and the like having a 50% off sale, when the actual retail price only exists for 2 weeks of the year.
I'd like to see a list of 1000 properties that show the previous land registry sale price and the current sale price with a 50% drop (I'm sure we could get a couple through the owner dying without heirs and the bank getting rid to cover the outstanding mortgage, hence the need for a decent number of examples).Mortgage Free in 3 Years (Apr 2007 / Currently / Δ Difference)

I suspect this won't be forthcoming. !!!!!! is a bit of a headline merchant - he likes to shout a good soundbite and not let the truth get in the way.
I have no intention of justifying every single world I write to a couple of nitpicking net weirdos. Sorry, not into playing that game.
By the way, who was it that was whining recently about 'tag teams' :rotfl:--

I rest my case. :cool:IBy the way, who was it that was whining recently about 'tag teams' :rotfl:
Oops, you snuck this comment in while I was responding to your original post. I see you don't understand tag team wresting; you 'tag' someone when you're losing. On the housing forums you're carolt's tag partner, so When she is in trouble and on the ropes, you dive in to protect her and vice-versa.
In this case you were already getting the worst of it from chucky (no doubt carolt will turn up shortly), so he didn't need to 'tag' for assistance. I posted simply because I was astounded at your "50% drops already" load of old tripe and wanted to register my continuing incredulity at many of your outlandish statements.Mortgage Free in 3 Years (Apr 2007 / Currently / Δ Difference)

!!!!!!? After being caught with your latest empty soundbite, one would have thought you'd have the sense to be quiet. Don't you see that you now have zero credibility and zero integrity?:silenced:

Good luck on the job hunting.
Yes - we will (in fact, are) all paying for the fatcat bozos who had an almost decade-long party.
The main galling factor is the "Privatise the profits, socialise the losses" ethos that these weasels follow. The regulatory system has failed us, bigtime. Much of the banks losses comes from frankly stupid lending that should never have been allowed. There's plenty of evidence around to suggest that risk management was thrown out the window by the big boys in the face of the pressure to pump profits and bonuses up even more - but I doubt we'll see any FSA investigations into that somehow.
a fatcat bozos... surely they've worked hard to get where they have got?
aren't you happy that other people are doing well for themselves?0 -

net weirdos!? surely that's abuse - should i report that or should you !!!!!!?
let's follow the sequence here, you make a statement, i question the statement, the normal thing would be to provide facts to back up your argument but as always you start throwing your toys out of your pram because you're making things up.
let me ask you again - where are these 50% drop in prices.
this is your statement
Yeah - there are some places that have had 50% falls already (mostly BTL- fodder executive apartments).
care to tell us all where these are?0 -

160k from developer:
