Today I have ordered some free Sims to sell on and listed some books on amazon. I've sorted out envirofone for the old mobile and listed the spare battery on ebay.
I let oh pay for shopping - not sure that counts!! We did get the veg at Lidl not Tesco though so that does.ilovefreegle.org - give it away don't throw it away

Today I have used vouchers at Warwick castle (mentioned this on several other posts but excited as got kids in free too as well as us saving £60!!!!!!):j Only spent less than £15 as we took packed lunch etc paid for by M&D.

I got home from flying visit to M&D and they liked my finished baskets (presents for earlier birthdays) and found that the tax people have written to me to say THEY may owe ME some money!!!!! :j Very exciting - apart from they want some proof from me that they do owe me which may be a little more taxing..... excuse pun!:D
I've done some lightspeed surveys adding to my point balance.
I have lots of bingo and jackpot matched betting opportunities but still not worked out what to do with them yet... so not yet used.....
I've got a message on my answerphone saying I have won a luxury holiday in cancun - I think because I completed a survey and it is a timeshare thing but they didn't leave a number:mad: So I'm hoping we still get it cos that would be fab (and our second free/low cost holiday offer in a month!):rotfl:
Unfortunately I did the budget planner yesterday (from this site) and it showed that even with our current best efforts - if we spend at our current rate we will overspend by about £300 per month.
In my original posting I missed a figure out completely (so it looked like we were within budget when actually we were then at least £400 over per month!!!!!)
We are therefore seriously looking at all our costs to see what we can still cut out but it is soooo hard. To put in context, I think we traditionally have overspent by about £1K a month and therefore to get it down to £300 per month and still pay off debt would actually be a significant achievement.... I do realise however that it is not enough.... I think I may need to restart my own thread on this.....Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Did you manage to get the kids in to Warwick on the adult vouchers mentioned on MSE?? I have printed off enough for all of us but a bit nervous, 2.5 hour drive to be turned away wouldnt be fun!0

I did and they are very obviously not adults!!! My parents and OH didn't want me to try but we did anyway. We had the original voucher which doesn't say as clearly that it is adult entrance only - the new voucher says in a big bold strip adult free entry. We just got waved through. The adult tickets work fine anyway - the price for kids otherwise is £10.95 each!Did you manage to get the kids in to Warwick on the adult vouchers mentioned on MSE??
