Oh no I need to confess. All my good intentions went out the window. I have had a bad couple of days and I went and spent £31 on clothes. What makes it even worse is I used my CC. Just when I thought I was getting better .

    evening all....

thanks for the goodwishes Sophiesmum...no real update am afraid...will have to wait till next week. Really not been in a great frame of mind today either so my efforts have been kind of levelled off by my failures....

    - used slow cooker for first time. Slept in a bit this morning so in my rush to prepare tea, forgot lunch. Had to buy a sandwich from the garage. Tea was ok. Beef in redwine but the sauce was a bit heavy for me. Going to be a learning curve.
    - updating microsoft money - about 6 weeks!!! behind so it taking ages
    - kept it as low as possible
    - only done one washing - I dont have a 30 degree option on mine :(
    - done all dishes by hand rather than dishwasher.
    - will have hot water bottle rather than put on heating

Thats it today - got a few tricks up my money saving sleeve for tomorrow tho so catch you all then

  • Well I've accepted the fact that a NSD is unlikely this month. September will be good when the kids are back at school.

    Today:

Used £5 off voucher at Tesco :j
Used 2 vouchers for free 8 packs of Activia yoghurt :j

Took kids to softplay - should have been £10 but got in free as I know the staff :j

Bought 10 pairs of socks and 6 pairs of boxers for son, 6 pairs of socks for DD1 and 2 pairs of PJs for DD2. Got this all for £11.50 in Primark. I used to go to Next and pay about £50 for the same thing.

    Checked online banking

Had £112 charges back from Studio :j

Bought all my meat for the week - another biggie for me as I'm usually disorganised

Wrote menu plans for the week ahead - first time ever. :j
