Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

    Hello all.

    Good luck Bunny.

Today I have been mostly sleeping as I had a rather late night, well early morning, well not even early, I went to bed when other people were probably getting up :o

    afternoon/evening!

Bunny -good luck tomorrow - I'll keep everything crossed!

My sister has just started her journey home. She asked me for more tips so she's re-signed back up to the weekly email (she used to get it with her old job work emaill addy), I've shown her Quidco and how it works, I've shown her moneysupermarket to get travel insurance, mysupermarket to look to reduce her shopping and she is going to eat up all the stuff in the cupboard (even the weirdy soya casserole cubes from holland and barrett!!!).

She also sat and read some of Martin's articles on getting her shopping cheaper. I've advised her to sign up to the forum and visit OS when she gets to the odds and sods of her cupboards.

she is already pretty good - she has freeview through her sky dish, she was donated a fridge, she cut off her phone line when she couldn't afford it and just used her mobile and she has a company car which doesn't need insuring. She isn't a member of a gym but is a runner and a cyclist and so does her exercising for 'free'.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Just watching the V festival on Telly, Amy Winehouse looks as though she is desperate for the loo while singing that song:rolleyes:

Have caught right up on my housework and have almost finished Mardy clients year end but the bloomin toner has gone in the printer, thought it was the drum and paid £44 for a new one but it turns out to be a dodgy toner cartridge.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
