  • Morning and especially morning to Sammy!

I couldn't sleep last night either due to an Indian giving me heartburn and indigestion. tired to sleep sitting up and then thought sod it I may as well read MSE for a bit and a bit ended up being nearly five o clock! I never stay up that late.

I am going to try to follow fly lady today and have a list of my own to work out. I expect I will be around a lot today

    xx

    Morning lovely peeps.

Buffy, I always have some indigestion tablets in the house as I get crippled with heartburn after loads of different foods, cant even drink orange juice:o

Not much on the agenda for me today, a bit of food shopping and some ironing. Think I will watch the ladies running too as havent seen much of the olympics at all.

Since coming back from holiday our gardens have turned into Jungles but depending on how bad OH's hangover is will dictate on how much gets done:rolleyes:

I feel loads better today and have actually felt hungry enough to eat some brekkie.

Jinky! I always seem to just miss you:mad:

Might go and do some flyladying:D

    Have a happy saturday everyone.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    Morning all.

I am being super lazy this morning. Hubbles just brought me tea and toast in bed and I'm catching up on MSE and flicking through Mothercare catalogue.

Hubbles going to watch his brother play rugby this afternoon and I'm planning a few hours study then having a play in the kitchen, perhaps make some muffins and a coffee cake or summat.

Just sneaked in to see how you are all getting on.

Lucifa and Buffy, how strange! Lucifa's sig struck a chord with me the other day too. I have started so many things in my life and seem to have stopped trying when things started to get difficult (like my exams!) it really made me think I should try just that little bit harder.

So thank your boss for me (although whenever I think of your boss now Luc I just see the picture of the fat man on the floor with the laptop).:rotfl: :rotfl:

edit: just realised it was your ex boss........

The fat man picture is more like my ex boss TBH and he always his windows open whatever the time of year (in Aberdeen!) So if I needed to be in his office more than 2 minutes I had to put my suit jacket on or I would've taken his eye out :rotfl:

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
