My ISA transfer hell (part deux)
They have had my Bradford and Bingley ISA cheque since May 23rd and have cost me about £50 in interest so far.
They will not open the ISA until the have the other ISA cheque from Barclays. Despite repeated phone calls since the beginning of June, barclays say they have not even had a transfer request.
I have told them to:
cancel the transfer request.
Don't try and get cheque from Barclays.
Return the Bradford and Bingley cheque to Bradford and Bingley.
I would rather insert my genitals into a Marks and Spencer Delicatessen bacon slicer than ever set foot into your establishment again and will make it my lifetime mission to use every single calorie I have available (and by Jesus, I have a few) to persuade every human being I meet to avoid them like the plague.
It turns out that the senior Nationwide customer service manager dealing with my 'issue' is a chap called Brian Glover..........perhaps this explains why I've not actually had any response from him over this matter.

Although it says he was a professional wrestler and the voice of the Tetley tea and Allinson commercials, the article says nothing about him being a customer service manager with Nationwide. Also it is dated 1997. I therefore doubt its the same Brian Glover.
Anyway, I wish you luck with the complaint.0 -
That Brian Glover is deceased, no more, he's expired and gone to meet his maker. If he wasn't nailed to the perch he'd be pushing up the daisies.. that is an EX-ex-wrestler
[Good comic actor too, RIP].....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0
