I see that Darragh has not been back here today, and he has not replied to any of the questions on the other thread, either. Of course, there may be many reasons why that is.

If Darragh spends time on MSE, he has less time to spend at PB's own CS desk. What is his best course of action?

possibly he's gone away to resolve some of our issues and implement some of our suggestions/requests...or is that too optamistic :rotfl:

What other thread did I miss something yesterday? Was there a new pigsback questions thread started?

Patience, patience, Droopy! I am sure you can easily (as easily as me :o ) think of several dozen reasons why he wasn't 'seen' here today.......he might not even have been at work at all today, or been busy with processing those Lottery point claims he asked people to send for his attention, getting flogged by his bosses for venturing out and face that army of MSEers, or may be he got sidetracked investigating what threat the Big Red Button poses to Pigsback? May be it was his GF's/wife's birthday, or his own? May be he did his Xmas shop today?

Open another bouteille of your favourite rouge and relax!

Just found this on another Forum:

CD-WOW is based in Hong Kong and if you buy from their Hong Kong website it is cheaper than the UK one, subject to exchange rates, the Hong Kong site is in English and delivery is still free.

Although all the prices listed are in Hong Kong Dollars you can pay in Sterling at checkout, please check the curent exchange rate before making a purchase to be safe.

    https://www.cd-wow.hk

You can check the exchange rate at https://www.xe.com

TAKE HEED: If anyone is thinking about trying to redeem gift codes issued to them from Pigsback and probably anywhere else, they won't be accepted on the Hong Kong website.

Ella2002, if you have read all the Pigsback threads then it will not have escaped you that Pigsback is a seriously commercial undertaking, not a consumer charity!

For example, your and my (and everyone else's) clicks are precisely what Pigsback need so they can be found when somebody searches for them in Google/Yahoo. If it weren't for us, Pigsback would need to pay A LOT of money to be found.

Without figuring very high in Google/Yahoo, Pigsback wouldn't be able to attract lucrative business partners (Whitbread, LastMinute etc) because those partners pay Pisgback money in the hope that Pigsback will attract new customers for them.

So - - - we click, Pigsback get money from the companies they promote, and we're getting a share (a tiny one, rest assured) of that money.

We are working for Pigsback! Therefore:

There is absolutely nothing wrong with Pigsback subscribers asking Pigsback to deliver on their promises.

There is everything wrong with Pigsback not delivering on their promises.

It isn't just on the MSE Forum that countless people report of non-delivered vouchers and unanswered emails - Pigsback's own forum, and other forums (fora?) you can find on the Net all have the same stories.

Time Pigsback cleaned up their act.

This is not in any way criticising Darragh's honourable efforts - we do need to remember, though, that he is 'only' an employee of Pigsback, he doesn't set the business strategy and budgets.

arkonite_baby - I don't think this is a Quicktime file, the extension is .swf, so it's more likely a Macromedia Flash file.

I will check that out though I have macromedia flash installed as well.

 Ah well will see what happens
