I wouldn't know, as I have never looked for beds in Debenhams. You would think they would have a bigger range on line wouldn't you?

You would, but their website is rubbish, they also don't list all the clothes, kitchenware, home products, etc., that they sell in the store. Quite annoying if you see something in store and then want to order it.

Luckily for me it's only 15 minutes walk from my house.

I have a Kaymed branded divan which looks very similar to this - I got it from Archers Sleep Centre, where they appear to be cheaper than Dreams.

    It's excellent.

We got a King Size Divan for £1150.

The only issue I have with any memory foam, full mattresses is that you can find that you get quite hot, so personal preferance would be only a "topper" of the foam on a sprung mattress. Cuts the price quite a bit too! ;)
:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:

    Hi frannyann.

We have covered all that about memory foam/reflex foam being much warmer. However Mrs E insists that this is the type of mattress she wants.

Toppers are ok if you already have a good mattress to put it on, but shouldn't be used to revive an oud worn out mattress. And aren't anywhere near as good as a sprung mattress with the memory foam built in.

Totally agree! Just chucking my ten pence worth in! Sorry if covering old ground! :D

That's ok, you weren't to know because it was in a different thread.
  • Hi Tim,
i have a severe neck problem and my current firm mattress is hell. Can't afford to get this wrong this time and have tried a Kaymed 2000 pillow top which was lovely, Healthbeds memory flex which i think was good and Ergoflex which i haven't tried but read good reviews. Any comments?
    Cheers

Hope you don't mind me adding my 2p worth.

I bought 4 cheapie memory foam neck pillows (I think they were £15 to £25 each, but can't remember for sure).

They were terrible, like concrete blocks.

So I bought 1 Tempur (traditional style) pillow to try, I love it, instant comfort.

When we got our new Kaymed bed I haggled to get a free pillow thrown in (amougst other discounts), it was £50, hubby has that he loves it.

BUT the Tempur is far better than the Kaymed, his is good mine is better.

Gave the others to the charity shop:rolleyes:

If I was buying my Tempur again, I would splash out another £10 & get the deluxe one.

I have a Kaymed Chaucer bed, they have been discontinued now. You cannot find them on Kaymed's website or Dreams. I wonder why they have been discontinued as I only brought mine on 3rd May. I am not happy with the bed, it is not exactly as I thought it would be. It is a memory foam bed, feels lovely when you first get into bed. We find that you get quite warm during the night. I would love to sell the bed, only had 3 nights sleep on it.
