Just as an aside; you've had a great deal of help from several of us on here which has resulted in your being considerably better off. In all those days you have thanked NOBODY. Personally, I'm not bothered but it really is rather rude of you.0

However, thanks for your time and I'll crack on.
Thanks for replying anyway, every little helps!
Are just 2 of the comments I've made. Sorry you are getting so upset about it. Imagine if something real actually happens to you!0 -

ONW is referring to the 'Thanks' function which is essentially the same as saying thank you to someone in RL. Because, if you were asking this advice f2f and over a period of days, you'd thank people as they said something helpful, and not as an aside every now and again.
I don't think it is a case of people getting upset about you not thanking them, or others, but a reminder that you are 'talking' to real people who have taken the time to help you save money. And the Thanks button is there so it takes no real effort to use it.
It's just good manners really and ONW is clearly not that upset as she has continued to help you. There may well be others who haven't helped you because they perceive you as bad mannered, as happens in RL.0 -
Ok.
Where's the 'im sorry' button?0 -
I'm not upset, just giving you a nudge about board etiquette, that's all. We'll consider the apologies button well and truly pushed!0
