    I just had a look at the "pound shop" in york and got a Simon Cowell figure that has about three phrases like "That was the dullest thing that I have ever heard "etc.

    It will make a fantastic stocking filler for a pound. My 11 year old will love it.

    I got some groovy chick bang on the door body spray for 50p from Home Bargains. My DD's like that sort of stuff.

    My local post office had a huge sale on, got two small water pistols for 20p each and a soul cd for my hubby for 50p, great because he is out of work at the mo so money will be tight

  • Another poster put this on another topic, but wot about surprise bags from Claire's Accesories. They were buy 1get 1 free 2 pound for 2 and anything from 20 -30 pounds of stuff in them.

    Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...

    Got my mini Simon Cowell today - fantastic! Made dh and me laugh a lot!

    Try Wilkinsons for bits and bobs, bought some magic trick sets for 99p and a build your own burglar alarm set for £1.99, should keep my son quiet for a bit!
