Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I was thinking of making a large hamper for the school Christmas raffle. The people who organise it mean well but some of the prizes last year were tat. A large basket would be a nice prize.

Does anyone know if discount codes will work on Boots.com if I buy a car seat that already has 20% off and extra 600 ac points for spending over £60? If so, then does anyone know of a code that works? I'll do a search in a minute when I've fed DD.

Another questions, slightly O/T - with my O2 phone I get free calls if I top up with £10. Do you know if I'd still get this if I topped up 2x£5?

    Thanks,
    Chell

At xmas I do it slightly different, I either put tissue paper round it first before the cellohane so it isnt see through, or I wrap the items individually before placeing them in basket and then wrap with cellophane, or I use layers of xmas paper/tissue paper to hide items and then put shredded paper on top and pop the cards on top or maybe a photo in a frame so there is something nice to see.

Or maybe one item on display and the rest hidden.

Hiding them can be a problem, those were just sat in my lounge after they were done! I wouldnt want the baskets damaged so would make them as close to giving them as possible, I hope to make mine end on nov and get them handed out start Dec. I am mainly going to be using baskets the same size as the ones free with huggies as Tesco, also will be buying the sellophane gift bags and will pop in a few things, maybe a shampoo, conditioner and soap set or something, great for teacher gifts or raffle prizes or prezzies for not so close relatives, looks great with some curling ribbon and maybe a fac cloth in a muffin case made to look like a cupcake!

Thanks for that - I may use tissue paper and wrap the items idividually then put in basket - especially for my childrens baskets. Wanted to make them one each for all the smaller bits and pieces.

Thats a great idea for the school prize, Ive often done food baskets in the past for playgroup/todlders but a toiletries one would be different, and cheaper! And well appreciated as well no doubt. Non bootsers would have no idea how little the actula costs are.
