Does anyone know of any gliches, combinations Besides the obvious half price offers around stores with body washes/shower gels etc...

I have numerous sun care products, loads of mitchums, gallons of Trevor Sorbie tubs and tubs of face creams, but no shower gels/body washes.

Dove bodywash is showing at half price (£1.14) online. This is fab stuff, and I like the plain ol' mositurising, unscented variety -- it's great for sensitive skin. But there are many fragrances to choose from. It's not really a glitch, but you could combine it with other items or glitches to spend enough to get two till spits. :)

Edit: Just realized you were looking for something *beyond* half price offers already in store! Doh! I guess you could sign up with Dove as someone suggested yesterday and get the vouchers that give you another 50% off the Dove. Sorry, lol.

I tried to use the £1.50 digital processing voucher from the magazine today - which says "£1.50 off processing, for example 5 free 6x4 photos on the 1h service". I had ordered the 24 hour service so they refused to accept it. However it says nothing in voucher T&Cs that it had to be 1h service, I thought this was just an example of what £1.50 would get you. Anyone else managed to use this voucher for the 24h prints?

Meant to write this for a while but too busy recently. Anyway I had the same problem last week when tried to use the £1.50 mag photo voucher. Actually first time used 24 hrs service for seven 6*4 photos (so £1.40), the voucher went fine. Next day thought I'd give it a try on 24 hrs for several batches of six 6*4 and two 7*5 (so £1.50) for myself and friends, the voucher bleeped. SA charged me for 50p for the 7*5 ones. Tried to argue about the "for example" then she said she herself tried 7*5 and it wouldn't work, got a few SAs to explain to me, one said 7*5 is a prob, one said 24 hrs is a prob, one said I can't have so many vouchers to use even if I'm just picking up for friends

Asked them to call customer service and clarify, CS didn't have any clear answer. One senior SA came and rid all off, but "warned" it's a one off...

Really furious about this, they don't seem to understand what "for example" mean, never called CS before about anything but just couldn't help complaining this time. Well, got 500 points as compensation but simply not worth all the embarrassment and waste of time.

To be honest not that happy with the quality either, the kiosk didn't seem to give an option of matt/gloss which snapfish, jessops etc all do. I personally don't really like shining photos.

Also JFI, the photos come with a 5 prints free when develop 25 voucher (printed on a same photo paper), also ATM gives 5 free when develop 20 I think, but sorry to disappoint any of you who plan to try - combining all these are going to be a lot of pain...
  • could you not do x2 Lash Extensions? Till recognises £20, but they are reduced to £5 atm?

Or new dramatic eyes No7 £10.75 and another £10 item, use a pinky, total £15.75. Not exactly a steal but still a small saving :o

Good idea hun;) will see if i can womble a ill spit too befor i go
im not allowed to say what i think so ner!:p
  • Hi I am new to all this,

Some great tips here thanks everybody.

A question for you experts. I did a little shop today in my local Boots and picked up a few bargains. I got a till spit for the £5 off which I used to buy a No7 eye make up remover @ £7 so it cost me £2. I wondered after if I should have spent another £13 to get the GWP or would I have needed to spend £18? Would this have worked with the £5 off??

I will try the TS tomorrow as my local didn't have the Long hair range. Which combinations work with the voucher? Can I get a shampoo and conditioner or do I have to get the serum and shampoo??

Can someone explain what is the purpose of thanking for the posts? Is it purely politness?

    Thanks. :-)

Today I tried to use a pinky to get the old gwp, the cardboard bag with miniatures, and mens washbag with miniatures, they are on sale at my local for £6.50 each but couldnt get either with pinky as they are classed as gift set!

Yes, I tried to get the men's washbag, as my store also have it at £6.50. Nice No7 SA tried, but it beeped, so left it.
I took 2 tan maintainers and the current gwp to the 'normal' checkout, used the pinky, and the SA took the gwp off me, said I couldn't have it as I wasn't spending £20. Now I have 2 tan maintainers:doh: , but at least they only cost £5, and I got two more vouchers....... I WANT THE GWP!!!
Nothing left for free, no Johnson's stuff, no good reductions - just generally pants! The TS stand is tiny, no long hair stuff (shame, as both DH and I could use that) , so can someone tell me what are the general requirements for using the TS mag voucher, please?
I REALLY REALLY WANT SOMETHING FOR FREE(ISH)!!!!!

I'm glad it wasn't just me reading this the same way. I was actually quite upset with the way I was treated, they were really condescending & made out I was a complete idiot, when it seems to be Boots not understanding the "for example" phrase. I won't be using the Boots photo desk again.

Did 4 branches today and couldn't find the long range of TS anywhere - boo!

Plus due to london prices......the No7 eyeshadow brush would work out at £1.50 with till split (unlike 75p in the rest of the country using broclo's list).

Managed to get some mitchums, sanctuary face mask, some TD wipes (forgot to use mag voucher for one  ).

Could only get H&B mag in one branch - all others sold out!!

2 branches I went to have now got more self service. I was invited to use one and the SA helped me but had problems putting the mitchum voucher through. Once that was done she then swiped everything else for me at which point i produced 2 other coupons (TD and facial). At the end I didn't get the till splits (they print out much smaller from the SS which is great) which shouldn't have happened but it was the last shop and I was tired. Later I realised she hadn't swipped the mitchum as it didn't show on the receipt but the coupon worked. :o So even though they lost out of 29p, I lost out on the till splits.
