Could anybody enlighten me on the Smiley perfume???
I know it was mentioned on here and everyone was going mad for it but can't remember why it was good?? Only asking coz saw some today in my local but wasn't sure if it was a bargain.
It was £6.25 for 30ml eau de toilette.

I got a set yesterday for £5, and asked a similar thing last night - wondered how much it had been?

Only got it because, like you I',d read alot of people on here mentioning it, lol!

Wondering about Oral B, have many people found them for £3.xx or just the odd one. TIA

  • Sorry Moneypennyless,

I certainly wasn't intentionally ignoring you - I didn't know the answer to your question - and I guess no-one else knew anything definite either! I'm sure it wasn't intentional on anyone's part. I answer if I think I can add some value, but I'm not sure it would be any help for us all to reply with "I don't know"

As soon as anyone does know anything with regard to a sale, I'm sure it will be posted here - so I guess it's a case of watching this space!

    and
    Dear moneypennyless,
please don't think you are being deliberately ignored. Especially that people are noticing you have not been around a while and thus ignoring you. For example I don't have kids so I don't know specific info on kiddies items. I noticed there are no reduced toys in my locals and that there are half price clothes. Other than that I cannot help you. I try only to answer when I know more specific info. When I got back from holidays I asked several times about the sale, but no one know anything for sure. For instance, there were rumours in July of a sale, I went on holiday all upset that I was gonna miss it, got back and nothing had happened.

Also, this thread moves very quickly (unfortunately for me, since I cannot continue to read through 20 pages per day. It is a big time waster, even though I really enjoy it). And recently everyone has been asking the same questions over and over... I don't mind helping out, but it is getting repetitive. So when someone does read your post burried 10 pages before the last one, they will assume someone has answered your query.

Just a small suggestion. If your post is about the sale, why don't you highlight the text like this: sale (when?). You shouldn't write in bold or caps the whole text (i think this is internet politeness), just a couple of key words. so this way your post does not get lost.

Will report back if I see anything. (end of quote)

Thankyou ladies, I'm sorry, I wasnt being funny and pointing fingers at anybody, I was just generalising that my posts arent as interesting as once where, as I know longer have time to keep up with glitches and deals to post anything of any excitement!! I do have a quick read when I can, and yes, I agree, it can be quite repetative, of which I also apologise, with me posting same question, tho, it is only once every 5 or 6 weeks, and I have only done it a couple times, but it is difficult to try and find out info on this thread, as I havent the time to trawl through post after post, with the forum movin so quick. Great idea saying to keep it simple and highlighted in the title, will remember that one, tho I guess I am not likely to ask again, as obviously peps dont know, and its just a case of checking forum and nipping instore when I can. I did wonder if there were any Boots staff, reading this and able to shed some light on whether there will be a sale this summer. I did ring customer services up, and ended up with a very snootty CA who snapped at me, and told me no!!
if you cant have what you want, be grateful for what you have :T

We are allowed to have 2 cards at same address if they are in two different names aren't we? Don't terms & conditions say something like you can't have 2 cards for one account (like you can with Nectar) but that other members of your family can each have their own card.
That was exactly the situation with my mate, but Boots still accused her of fraud!

Make of that what you will.

Someone previously asked when Christmas stock was due to go out but can't find the post now, sorrry :o

Anyway, I was speaking to a lovely SA yesterday- she said that Christmas stock was scheduled to begin to be put out on September 15th, and that the Christmas decorations will go up:xmastree: (& music start playing :xmassmile ) on October 15th!!! :xmassign:
    Very excited indeed lol :snow_grin
Don't need much for Christmas now (well I do need some male presents but can't really get those from Boots  ) but am really looking forward to seeing all the new gift sets that might get reduced after Christmas :j

Also guys- I'm a bit upset that some people are viewing Scorpiokitten as a non-sharer   SK has helped me out sooooo many times when I've had mean SA's refuse to let me get certain things with vouchers etc and is such a sweetheart that some recent posts suggesting she hogs the glitches etc really aren't fair!!
SK is always one of the first to risk testing new glitches etc (often testing out potential glitches that others have asked her to do rather than for herself!) and always reports back to share her findings, which she obviously doesn't have to do, and if she was a non-sharer then she would keep all that valuable info to herself.

SK- super stash hun   soooooooooo when can we see pics of the rest of it :D
  • Off topic - but wanted to share:

If you are getting a Huggies New Mum pack from Sainsburys (rrp 9.99) using coupon off huggies website, you can do this in conjunction with £2 off huggies from Sainsburys parent magazine (cheapest are newborn nappies 3.75 which get reduced to 1.75).

But my reason for posting is that the 9.99 coupon and £2 off coupon counts towards your total spend - handy in my case for getting a 5p per litre off petrol coupon. So I got the new mum pack, the nappies and £2.30 knocked off a tank of petrol for just £1.75. (rest of my shopping was £38.** but till thought I'd spent over £50).
